Happy Easter

(Saturday) It has been a pretty fun week, with the exception that this is the first holiday that my husband has missed and i miss him. I don't think that the kids enjoyed as much as they would have if their dad had been here, but the did have some fun.

As you can see they met the Easter Bunny. He was a Lee's. We went down the Hippity-Hoppity Trail and Mia got some goodies. She was actually more impressed with Easter Bunny and was calling for him the whole time. He finally agreed to have his picture with her and Cole. Cole doesn't quite know what to think. I was surprised that Mia enjoyed it as much as she did considering what happened with Santa Clause.

After going on the trail we went to my cousin Trisha's house to decorate eggs. Mia really enjoyed herself. She had picked out the egg coloring that we used. Guess what it was.  Yep. Princess eggs. It came with crowns and stickers to decorate the eggs with. We even made some tie died eggs. I think she had more fun just playing with Addie and Hunter. She was so dirty by the time we left that I had to put her in the tub when we got home, but with summer fast approaching i think there is going to be a lot more of that.  

 

(Sunday) We went to church today with my parents. It was very enjoyable. Gavin Gailey reported his mission. I haven't seen him for years. I was best friends with his sister. 

Mia got a new dress from the Easter Bunny along with some clothes, princess markers, and bubbles. 

Cole got some clothes and a bumble elephant. He likes it a lot. I bought myself a skirt because the Easter Bunny didn't visit me. Hopefully in a few weeks he will. (if you know what I mean, Jared) 

We ate dinner with my parents then went to Jared's parents and had bunny cake and ice cream. All in all the day was enjoyable, but there was something missing. Oh, ya, Jared wasn't there. I miss him so much. It is like a piece of me is missing. I hope he know how much I love him.
